According to health experts, eating healthy helps increase employee work productivity.  Experts suggest that eating breakfast in the morning, drinking water, and staying disciplined to a healthy diet will increase your energy levels which will ultimately maximize productivity.  Consuming nutrients and other key vitamins help keep the body feeling refreshed and the mind strong, while drinking water helps to regulate your body and brain, releasing endorphins which make you feel happier.

Eaton Steel Bar Company has created a work environment where the shortage of healthy foods is never in question.  From apples to oranges, strawberries to kiwis, Eaton Steel Bar Company offers a wide range of fruits to its employees.  Fruits are a good source of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and nutrients which allow the body to feel regenerated as well as the brain to work at optimum power.  With the help of Sue Connnors, who brings the daily assortment of fruit, employees are able to create healthier eating habits while increasing work productivity.

With Eaton Steel Corporation in the midst of a 175,000 square foot expansion project, a company gym is being implemented in the blueprints as well.  With the new companywide eat healthy initiative, employees will soon be able to eat healthy and break a sweat in the company gym!!

Staying Healthy Tips:

  • Bring your own lunch from home
  • Eat breakfast before you come to work
  • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
  • Drink water instead of soda and coffee
  • Break a sweat, hit the gym!
