41L40 Cold Drawn Steel Bar

Cold drawn 41L40 steel bar is a medium carbon, chromium-molybdenum steel with a lead addition. This material has the ability to perform with the high strength of 4140, with the added machinability from lead and cold drawing. It has high hardenability, high wear resistance, and good toughness. The addition of lead in this grade improves machinability. Eaton Steel Bar Company stocks many diameters of 41L40 cold drawn steel to meet the market demands. 41L40 can be heat treated and annealed.
